Handling citations
This wiki offers several tools to help handling citations to/from wiki pages, as well as building scientific bibliographies.
- To see a list of already defined bibliographies and/or add a new one, browse to Special:Bibliography special page.
- More help available on Bibwiki extension homepage
- To add references and footnotes in your pages, use the <ref> </ref> syntax.
- See here for detailed instructions.
- If you want to cite a particular page on this wiki, click on the "Cite this page" link in the toolbox on page's left.
- Or, go to Special:Cite and insert the name of a page you would like to cite.
Inserting mathematical formulas
To insert mathematical formulas, follow this guide.
Interwiki links
If you need to link a page on an external wiki (like Wikipedia), you could use one of the defined interwiki link abbreviations (for example, for linking the "Sunflower" page on Wikipedia, simply write: [[wikipedia:Sunflower|big yellow flower]]; more on this on mw:Help:Links#Interwiki links). Many, but not all the existing wikis have a corresponding prefix: however, if you find a new useful prefix and would like to have it included among those available, simply ask the wiki admins to do so.
